本文首先介绍了AIG集团以及保险行业的一些基本知识，然后分析了从2004年末以来AIG的一系列财务丑闻以及和美国司法部之间的诉讼。最后简单总结了AIG丑闻事件对AIG和保险业的影响以及对我国保险业在目前阶段的一些借鉴。

The thesis firstly introduces briefly AIG group and some basics of insurance industry, then give a detailed analysis about AIG scandals and litigations that happened from the end of 2004 and finally generalized the far reaching influences to AIG, insurance industry and to emerging immature insurance market such as China.
