The MBA2004 Student Group from CKGSB visited HK Lamma Power Station on Sep 1st, 2005.

Lamma Power Station is the power station of the Hong Kong Electric Company, Limited (HEC) at present. It supplies power to Hong Kong Island, Lamma Island and Ap Lei Chau with an annual capacity of 3,420 Mwatt. As the second largest electric company after CLP Power in Hongkong, HEC has 110 years of energy generating history and serves 35% of electricity demand of Hongkong.
 



With the introduction by Mr. Terry Yiu, the Public Affairs Officer of HEC, the students were fascinated and impressed by HEC’s advanced technology and equipment, as well as great efforts to environmental protection.
